Rack-mount receiver puts GPS to the test

The ptf 3201A fits in a standard 19in rack and uses at its heart a fourth-generation GPS clock combined with an eight-channel GPS receiver, control circuitry and a high-quality oven-stabilised oscillator. Additional oscillator options are also available. Originally developed as an OEM product for a major wireless infrastructure provider, PTF President, David Briggs, points out: 'The ptf 3201A is just one example of the commitment PTF has to our customers to make a difference'.

This particular company came to PTF seeking a custom solution to meet performance and cost objectives, and our engineering team was able to accommodate'.
